Patients who attended the surgery on Tuesday 20 January 2015 may have noticed that the receptionists looked remarkably like their doctors for that day! The reception team were away team building, and training on a new telephone system that is going to be with us over the next month or so. This telephone system will allow you to book appointments or re-order repeat medication using your standard phone or mobile.
The doctors just about survived their new duties, but in a large part due to our helpful and supportive patients. Seeing how receptionists have to cope under pressure has been a useful learning exercise, and we will continue to look at the ratio of emergency same day appointments, to those that can be booked further in advance.
